The Frustration of Butterflies

Ideas flit inside my brain

Like butterflies.

Wings tickling the inside

Of my skull.

Flutterings of words

Distracts my senses

And drives me to

The pen.

Only to stare

At the blank page

For hours

As the words I look for

Fly away.
